Metal Sonic

Metal Sonic is the second enemy of Sonic the Hedgehog. The Metal Sonic robot was created by Dr Eggman ( Dr Robotnik ).

Metal Sonic attack and defense is the same as Sonic the Hedgehog and he can hover, but Sonic the Hedgehog is faster than him. To unlock Metal Sonic, you need to get 130 Emblems.

Metal Sonic is really nothing more than a Sonic robot copy for Sonic levels / Bosses.

Metal Sonic Attack Control

Homing Attack
Buttons used: Space Bar / X Twice

The Homing attack is one of Metal Sonic most used moves. It is either used to destroy an enemy, get across a large and long gap, or giving more distance in a jump.

Spin Dash
Required Items: None
Buttons used: Holding V/ Z and letting go.

Metal Sonic spin dash is a move used to take out a long range of enemies or to go faster in an area.

Light Speed Dash
Required Items: Light Speed Shoes
Buttons uses: Holding V/Z until Aurora is blue

The light speed dash is used to cross a long gaps by using rings in a straight line. It is rarely used, but good for crossing areas at very fast speeds.

Light Speed Attack
Required Items: Ancient Light
Buttons Used: Holding V/Z until Aurora is blue

The light speed attack is used either to attack enemies that are off the ground or attack enemies with a delayed response.

Metal Sonic Hover
Required Items: None
Buttons Uses: Holding forward on the directional buttons

Hovering is Metal Sonic special move that makes him more different than Sonic the Hedgehog. Once Metal sonic gets enough speed, he will start hovering off the ground. It is slower than Sonic the hedgehog max speed and has no traction, but you can control Metal Sonic better.
